Quick summary
PandaDoc's date field feature lets you add a signable date input to any document or template by dragging it from the Fields tab to the desired location. Once placed and assigned to the correct recipient, the document can be sent directly from the editor for completion.
Steps
- Navigate to the Documents tab on the left-hand panel.
- Open the document or template where you want to add the date field.
- Click the content panel on the right-hand side to expand it.
- Assign the date field to the appropriate recipient before placing it.
- Select the Date field from the fields list.
- Drag and drop the Date field from the Fields tab to the desired location in your document.
- Confirm the field is placed where the recipient needs to input or view the date.
- After placing all necessary fields, click Send.
- Choose how to send the document to the designated recipients for completion.
