Jira does not have a native CC field, but you can mention users in a comment using the @ symbol to trigger email-style notifications. This method lets teams loop in stakeholders directly from a Jira issue without leaving the platform.
Steps
- Open the Jira issue where you want to add the comment and click on it.
- Click on the comment field to activate it.
- In the comment body, type @ followed by the name of the user you want to notify.
- Select the user from the dropdown list that appears.
- Click Save to post the comment.
- The mentioned users will receive a notification about the comment, similar to a CC in email.
