Steps
- Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Jira settings.
- Select Issues from the settings menu.
- On the left-hand side, under the Fields section, click on Custom fields.
- Click the Create custom field button in the top-right of the custom fields section.
- Select a field type from the available options, then click Next.
- Enter a name and description for the custom field, then click Create.
