Quick summary
This demo walks you through building a Zapier automation that uses Google Contacts as a trigger to send data into AppSheet. By the end, you will have a fully published Zap that automatically syncs new contact events to your AppSheet app without any manual effort.
Steps
- Define your trigger by selecting the event that starts your Zap in the Zapier editor.
- Choose Google Contacts as your data source for the automation.
- Specify which contact event — such as a new contact being created — will activate your Zap.
- Connect Google Contacts to Zapier to grant access to your address book.
- Select AppSheet as your action app in the Zap editor.
- Choose an action event to define what AppSheet should do when the trigger fires.
- Map your action details by linking Google Contacts fields to the corresponding AppSheet fields.
- Click Test step to run the integration and confirm the data flows correctly.
- Click Publish to go live and activate the Google Contacts–AppSheet integration.
