Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
- Click on the Trigger field to select the event that will start your Zap.
- Search for and select Basecamp as your trigger app.
- Select New To-Do as your trigger event.
- Click 'Yes, I'll allow access' to grant Zapier permission to connect to your Basecamp account.
- Select the specific Basecamp project and to-do list you want to monitor, then click Continue.
- Click Test trigger to create a sample to-do in Basecamp and verify Zapier can pull the data.
- Select Slack as the action app where Basecamp data will be sent.
- Select an action event to define what happens in Slack when the trigger fires.
- Connect your Slack account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the action details and click Continue.
- Click Test step to verify the Slack action works correctly.
- Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
