Quick summary
You can embed a live Power BI report directly into a PowerPoint presentation using the Microsoft Power BI add-in, available through the Add-ins tab. Once inserted, the report remains interactive and updates in real time without leaving PowerPoint.
Steps
- Launch PowerPoint and select your desired presentation.
- Go to the Add-ins tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
- In the search bar, search for Microsoft Power BI.
- Select Microsoft Power BI from the results and click Add.
- In Power BI, click Copy to copy the data link for your report.
- In the empty field in PowerPoint, paste the URL from Power BI.
- Click Insert to embed a live, interactive Power BI report inside your slide.
