How To Use Ahrefs for Backlinks

Here's a step by step tutorial on how to use Ahrefs for backlinks:

Go to Ahrefs>Site Explorer and enter your competitor domain name.
Click on Backlink Profile to note the link building trend of your competitor.
Head over to Backlinks under Backlink profile in the left pane.
You can select to Show all links or narrow down to Show best links only and hit Show results.
These are all the domains that are referring to your competitors domain.
Export the backlink report as CSV.

If your competitor has a backlink from a domain, it's highly likely they won't mind giving you the link too if you can create high quality content to be linked back to.
