- Prepare your PowerPoint presentation that you want to upload. Ensure it is fully edited and at the quality level you want published, then click File.
- Go to Export > Create a Video. Set the video quality to Full HD (1080p) using the quality dropdown, adjust the seconds-per-slide duration to your preferred timing, then click Create Video.
- In the export panel, If your slides include recorded narration or timings, select Use Recorded Timings and Narrations.
- Choose a save location, and confirm the file format is set to MPEG-4 Video (.mp4). Click Save and wait for PowerPoint to export the file - this can take several minutes for long presentations.
- Go to studio.youtube.com and click the Create icon at the top right, then select Upload videos.
- Upload the exported MP4. Add a title that matches your presentation topic, a description, and relevant tags while the file processes.
- Under Audience, select No, it's not made for kids, if the content is business-facing.
- Set visibility to Public, Unlisted, or Private depending on your distribution plan. Click Publish (or Schedule if setting a future date) to complete the upload.

📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Uploading presentations to YouTube is one of the most effective ways to repurpose existing content for a wider audience without rebuilding anything from scratch. For companys, converting a client-facing deck or internal training presentation into a YouTube video extends its reach beyond a single meeting or email attachment, and makes it searchable and embeddable on other platforms. The export-then-upload approach preserves animations, narration, and branding exactly as designed - no redesign required.
