- Go to studio.youtube.com and click Content in the left sidebar. Click the title of the video you want to trim to open its details page.
- Click Editor in the left sidebar to open the YouTube Studio video editor.
- Go to the Trim & cut section, drag the left handle inward to trim the start of the video.
- To trim from the end, drag the right handle inward to trim the end of the video.
- To remove a section from the middle, click New Cut, move the playhead to the start and end of the section, select the segment, then click the check icon at both points.
- Preview the edited video in the player to confirm the cuts look correct.
