  9. Enter the name of the YouTube channel you want to track.
  10. Click Continue to run your input and test the Trigger.
  11. Click Continue one more time to proceed to the Action setup.
  12. Search for Google Sheets and select it as the Action app.

  15. Click Sign In and log into your Google account.
  16. Click Allow to grant the necessary permissions for Google Sheets access.
  17. Fill out the input fields for Google Drive, Spreadsheet, and Worksheet.
  18. Choose the column where you want to add a new row and click the Add icon beside it.
  19. Select the specific YouTube analytics data you want to monitor; repeat for additional fields.
  20. Click Continue to publish and enable the integration.
  21. The selected YouTube channel's analytics are now synced to Google Sheets automatically each time a new video is uploaded.

📌 Why this matters

Manually tracking YouTube channel performance is time-consuming and error-prone for content creators and marketing teams. By connecting YouTube to Google Sheets via a Zapier automation, every new video upload instantly logs key analytics data into a structured spreadsheet — eliminating manual reporting. This no-code integration gives teams a real-time, centralized view of YouTube performance metrics without needing developer resources. It is an essential workflow for anyone who needs to monitor video analytics, build dashboards, or share channel performance data at scale.
