It is very easy to sync GitLab snippet comments to Slack using Zapier. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:
- Head over to the left-side panel and then tap 'Create'.
- Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options.
- After that, click the 'Trigger' tab to start the integration process.
- Search for 'GitLab' and select it from the recommended matches.
- Next, click the 'Trigger Event' menu to view and explore the available options.
- Pick 'New Code Snippet Comment' from the given list.
- Tap 'Sign In' afterwards and then log into your GitLab account.
- Subsequently, provide your 'GitLab Hostname', 'Application ID', and 'Secret' if you prefer more specific access. Otherwise, leave them blank and tap 'Yes, Continue to GitLab'.
