📌 Why this matters
Percentages transform raw numbers into instantly comparable insights, letting you spot patterns that absolute values often hide. When you're analyzing sales performance across regions or budget allocations across departments, percentages reveal the relative importance of each component at a glance. This becomes especially powerful when your underlying data changes frequently—percentages automatically adjust to show shifting proportions, making your dashboards more dynamic and helping stakeholders quickly grasp what's gaining or losing ground without mental math.
