How To Set Up Google Search Console

Follow these steps to set up Google Search Console for your website:

Go to Google Search Console and sign in with your Google account.

1. Click "Start now" and choose "ADD property".
2. Decide between adding a domain or URL prefix.
   • If you have many different subdomains and want separate stats for each, choose URL prefix.
   • If you want stats for all subdomains to be gathered in one property, choose domain.
3. For DNS VerificatioGoogle Search Console will provide you with a txt DNS record value. Copy it.

Next step is to Add DNS Record and Verify

1. Go to your DNS server (e.g., Cloudflare) and navigate to the DNS settings.
2. Click on "Add Record" and choose txt as the record type.
3. Use "@" symbol for the name field (representing your domain name) and paste the txt DNS record value into the content field.
4. Save the record.
5. Return to Google Search Console and Click on "Verify".
6. If everything is set up correctly, it should verify immediately. Otherwise, it may take a few hours.
