- Click the Chrome menu (the three dots) in the top-right corner of the browser and select "Settings."
- Click "Autofill and passwords" in the left sidebar, then select "Google Password Manager."
- Click "Settings" in the Google Password Manager sidebar and turn off "Offer to save passwords" and "Sign in automatically."
- Go back to "Autofill and passwords" in the left sidebar, and select Payment Methods to turn off "Save and fill payment methods" to stop Chrome from managing those as well.
- Go to chrome://extensions and check if "1Password – Password Manager" is disabled. If it is, click the toggle to turn it on, then pin it back to your toolbar via the Extensions icon.
- Go back to Settings > Autofill and passwords > Google Password Manager > Settings, to confirm 1Password is now the only active password manager in Chrome.
