Quick summary
Saving the Zoom chat lets you keep a full record of messages exchanged during a meeting. You can save chat in just a few clicks using the More Options menu inside an active Zoom session.
Steps
- On Zoom's main dashboard, click New Meeting to get started.
- Go to the menu bar and click Chat to open the chat panel.
- Start typing your message and click the Send button to post it.
- Go to the top-right corner of the chat panel and click the More Options button represented by ellipses.
- Tap Save Chat to proceed.
- After completing these steps, the chat shared by you and all meeting participants will be saved to your device.
