Quick summary
Google Slides does not have a native rounded text box option, but you can achieve the same result by inserting a rounded rectangle shape and typing directly inside it. This workaround lets you add styled text containers with curved corners to any slide in seconds.
Steps
- In the top menu, click Shapes.
- Hover over Shapes to expand the submenu.
- Choose Rounded rectangle or Oval from the shape options.
- Draw the shape on your slide canvas.
- Double-click inside the shape to activate the text cursor.
- Type your text inside the shape.
- Your shape now works as a rounded text box.
