How to Remove Users From Jira After Suspending

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to remove users from Jira after suspending them:

1. Click on the Gear icon on the top right.
2. And, select User Management from the dropdown.
3. The actions menu next to your user only gives you the option to Suspend User.
4. So, instead, we will directly click on the user to open a detailed view.
5. Click on the three dots at the top to reveal a menu.
6. You can now click on Remove user.
7. Confirm your action and click on Remove User again.

Note: You can temporarily remove a user’s access by selecting Suspend Access instead of Remove User to retain their data.
