📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Removing LastPass from Chrome helps you troubleshoot login conflicts, test alternative password managers, or simply declutter your browser when switching to built-in password tools. Beyond basic cleanup, this becomes essential when dealing with corporate security policies that restrict third-party extensions, or when you're selling or transferring a device to someone else. Since your vault data remains intact on LastPass servers, you can cleanly separate your browser environment from your password storage without losing access to your credentials.
