It is very easy to push Productboard ideas to Discord using Zapier. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:
- Head over to the left-side panel and then click 'Create'.
- Choose 'Zaps' from the list of options.
- After that, tap the 'Trigger' tab to start the integration process.
- Search for 'Productboard' and select it from the suggested results.
- Next, click the 'Trigger Event' menu to view and explore the available options.
- Choose 'New Note' from the list of options.
- Tap 'Sign In' afterwards to continue.
- Subsequently, enter your Project Name into provided input fields and then tap 'Yes, Continue to Productboard'. Once done, log into your Productboard account.
- Tap 'Authorize' afterwards to accept the terms and grant the necessary permissions.
- Click 'Test Trigger' to run your input.
- Following that, select the record that contains the ideas you want to push and then click 'Continue With Selected Record'.
- Search for 'Discord' and then select it as the Action app.
- Next, click the 'Action Event' menu to proceed.
- Choose 'Send Channel Message' from the given choices. Alternatively, you may select another choice so long as it suits your preferred integration structure.
- Click 'Sign In' afterwards, then log into your active Discord account.
- Subsequently, choose the specific Discord server you wish to use and then click 'Continue'.
- Tick the checkbox beside the permissions you wish to allow. After that, click 'Authorize' to continue.
- One by one, fill out the input fields with the required information related to the integration.
- As for the 'Message Text' field, click its corresponding 'Add' icon.
- Select 'Content' from the list of options.
- Once done, tap 'Continue' to publish and enable the integration.
- After completing these steps, your Productboard ideas will be pushed to Discord based on your input.
