Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync GetResponse contacts into Google Sheets automatically via Zapier.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to push GetResponse data to Google Sheets using Zapier by building a no-code Zap that automatically sends contact or subscriber data from GetResponse into a Google Sheets spreadsheet whenever a trigger event fires.

Steps

  1. From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
  2. Click on the Trigger field to open the event selector.
  3. Search and select GetResponse as your trigger app.
  4. Choose a trigger event from the available GetResponse options.
  5. Connect your GetResponse account to authorize Zapier access.
  6. Select the list from your GetResponse account that you want to use.
  7. Click Test trigger to verify that GetResponse is returning sample data correctly.
  8. Search and select Google Sheets as the action app.
  9. Choose an action event to define what Zapier should do in Google Sheets.
  10. Connect your Google Sheets account to authorize Zapier access.
  11. Configure the action details — map your GetResponse fields to the correct columns — then click Continue.
  12. Click Test step to confirm the data is being written to Google Sheets as expected.
  13. Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap and start the live automation.

📌 Why this matters

Automatically pushing GetResponse subscriber data into Google Sheets using Zapier eliminates manual data exports and keeps your spreadsheet reports up to date in real time. This no-code integration is critical for marketing teams that need a reliable, always-current view of email list growth, new contacts, and campaign performance without leaving their spreadsheet workflow. By connecting GetResponse to Google Sheets via a Zapier Zap, teams can trigger automated row entries the moment a subscriber joins a list, enabling faster reporting, cleaner data pipelines, and better decision-making across sales and marketing operations.
