How to Move a Subtask in Asana

Steps

1. Open the Project menu in Asana.
2. Click the task that contains the subtask you want to move.
3. Click and drag the subtask away from its parent task and drop it onto the TO DO list.
4. Find the subtask in your TO DO list and click on it to open it.
5. In the task pane, click the ellipsis icon to open the options menu.
6. Click the Convert to button from the options menu.
7. Select Subtask from the convert options.
8. Choose the parent task you want to assign the subtask to.
9. Click the target task to confirm the subtask has been correctly assigned.
10. In the task pane, scroll down to verify the subtask now appears under the correct main task.
