How To Lock An Image In Place In Google Slides
Try this interactive demo to learn how to lock an image in place in Google Slides.
📌 Why this matters
Locking images prevents colleagues from accidentally moving or deleting critical visual elements during collaborative editing sessions. You maintain consistent branding and layout integrity across your presentation, even when multiple people are making changes. This technique also creates professional templates where background images stay perfectly positioned while content slides can be duplicated and modified. The image becomes part of the slide's foundation rather than a moveable object, giving you the reliability of a true background element that won't shift during editing or presenting.
