This tutorial shows you how to integrate Typeform with Jira Software Cloud using a Zapier automation, so that new form submissions automatically trigger actions in your Jira project. In just a few steps, you can create a Zap that maps Typeform responses to Jira issues without writing any code.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel in Zapier and click Create.
- Choose Zaps from the list of options.
- Tap Trigger to start the integration process.
- Find and select Typeform from the available integration options.
- Choose your preferred Trigger Event from the dropdown.
- Tap Sign In and log into your active Typeform account.
- Review the terms and click Accept to grant the necessary permissions.
- Fill in the required fields to set up the Trigger configuration.
- Click Test to validate your trigger setup.
- Tap Continue With Selected Record to proceed.
- Search for Jira and select Jira Software Cloud as the Action app.
- Open the drop-down menu and select your preferred Action Event.
- Tap Sign In to connect your Jira account.
- Specify your Jira version and click Yes, Continue to Jira Software Cloud.
- Select the Jira site you want to integrate and click Accept.
- Fill out the input fields with the required details for your Jira account.
- Click Test to run your inputs and publish the integration.
- Your Typeform account is now integrated with Jira Software Cloud.
