How to Integrate Trello with Salesforce

Use this interactive demo to learn how to connect your Trello boards to Salesforce using a Power-Up.

Quick summary

Integrating Trello with Salesforce is done by adding the Salesforce Power-Up directly from your Trello workspace, then authorizing your Salesforce account to complete the connection. Once linked, your team can surface Salesforce data inside Trello cards without switching between tools.


Steps

  1. Click the question mark icon in the top right corner of your Trello window to access help and Power-Up options.
  2. Click "Make boards more powerful with Trello Power-Ups" to open the Power-Ups directory.
  3. Search for and select "Salesforce" to add it as a Power-Up to your workspace.
  4. Click "Add Power-Up" to begin the installation process.
  5. Select the Trello board to which you want to add the Salesforce Power-Up.
  6. Click "Add" to confirm and activate the Power-Up on your chosen board.
  7. Click "Go to board" to open the board where the Power-Up was just activated.
  8. Within your board, click the Power-Up icon in the top right corner to manage your Power-Ups.
  9. Under "Salesforce", click "Settings" to configure the integration.
  10. Select "Authorize account" to begin linking your Salesforce credentials.
  11. Click "Link Your Salesforce Account" to proceed with the OAuth authorization flow.
  12. Click "Allow" on the Salesforce authorization page to complete the Trello–Salesforce integration.
