- Log in and open your Qlik Sense app, and click Data load editor from the top menu.
- Click Create new connection in the Data connection panel on the right.
- Select REST from the connector list.
- Enter a Shopify Admin API endpoint URL (for example, an orders or customers endpoint using your store subdomain).
- In the request headers, add an X-Shopify-Access-Token header with your Admin API access token, then click Test connection to verify the request.
- Click Create to store the connection. You can now access the saved connection, browse the available tables, and select the ones you want to load into your app.
How to Integrate Qlik with Shopify
📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Shopify holds order history, product performance, customer records, and revenue data that e-commerce teams depend on for day-to-day decisions. Loading Shopify data into Qlik Sense lets merchandising, marketing, and finance teams build custom dashboards that go beyond Shopify Analytics, particularly when combining store data with ad spend, inventory, or fulfillment data. This is especially useful for high-volume stores where understanding trends across products, regions, or customer segments requires more flexibility than native reports provide. Centralizing Shopify data in Qlik keeps your analysis current and reduces reliance on manual exports.
