How to Integrate Lucid with Jira

Use this interactive demo to learn how to embed Lucidchart and Lucidspark directly into your Jira issues.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to integrate Lucid with Jira by installing the Embed Lucidchart & Lucidspark for Jira app and attaching a Lucid document directly to a Jira issue. Once set up, teams can view and collaborate on visual diagrams without ever leaving their Jira project board.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the top navigation bar in Jira and click Apps.
  2. Select Explore More Apps from the dropdown list of options.
  3. Search for Lucid and select Embed Lucidchart & Lucidspark+ For Jira from the search results.
  4. Click Try It Free in the top-right corner of the app listing page.
  5. Click Start Free Trial to activate the integration and proceed.
  6. Return to your project's main dashboard and open the Jira issue you want to integrate.
  7. Scroll down to the Embeds section within the issue and click Lucidchart & Lucidspark.
  8. Paste or enter the Lucid document link into the provided input field.
  9. Click Save to confirm the embedded document.
  10. Your Lucid document is now integrated instantly with the Jira issue.
