How to Integrate Jira with Jenkins

Use this interactive demo to learn how to integrate Jira with Jenkins for better project management and continuous integration.

It is very easy to integrate Jira with Jenkins via Zapier. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it:

  1. Go to the left-side panel and then click 'Create'.
  2. Select 'Zaps' from the list of options.
  3. Following that, click 'Trigger' to start the integration process.
  4. Search for 'Jenkins' and then select it as the Trigger app.
  5. Subsequently, choose your preferred 'Trigger Event'.
  6. Tap 'Test' afterwards to set up the Trigger and configure the connection settings.
  7. Once done, click 'Action' to proceed.
  8. Search for 'Jira' and then choose the tool you want to use.
  9. Click the drop-down menu and select your preferred 'Action Event'.
  10. Tap 'Sign In' afterwards.
  11. Specify your preferred Jira version and then click 'Yes, Continue to Jira Software Cloud'.
  12. After that, select the specific Jira site you wish to integrate and then click 'Accept'.
  13. Provide the required information to set up the Action accordingly.
  14. Once done, click 'Test' to run your inputs and publish the integration.
  15. After completing these steps, your Jira account will be integrated instantly with Jenkins.
