Steps
- Navigate to Contacts on your Salesforce dashboard.
- Click the Import button in the upper right corner of the Contacts list page.
- Select Accounts and Contacts under the Standard Objects tab.
- Choose Add new records as your import type.
- Select CSV as your data source.
- Upload your CSV file containing all your sales contacts.
- Click the Next button to proceed to the field mapping step.
- Map your CSV headers to the corresponding Salesforce objects in the next step.
- Review available Salesforce fields such as Contact: Email, Contact: First Name, and Contact: Last Name.
- Click the Map button to complete the field mapping process.
- Hit Next to advance to the final confirmation screen.
- Click Start Import to begin importing your contacts.
- Click OK to confirm and allow the import to run.
- Select All Contacts from the dropdown to verify your newly imported contacts are visible.
