How to Give Kudos on LinkedIn

Use this interactive demo to learn how to publicly recognize a colleague with Kudos on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn's Kudos feature lets you publicly celebrate a connection's achievement directly from your feed using an animated GIF post. This step-by-step walkthrough covers every click — from opening the post creation box to hitting Publish.


Steps

  1. On your dashboard, go to the post creation box and click 'Start a post'.
  2. Click the 'ribbon' icon at the bottom of the creation box to open the Kudos tool.
  3. Select your Kudos event from the available options.
  4. Choose your preferred GIF background for the Kudos post.
  5. Tag or mention the person you want to give kudos to.
  6. Click the 'Next' button to proceed to the final review screen.
  7. Modify any final details and click 'Post' to publish your Kudos.
