How to Fork a Project on Replit
📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Forking lets you build on existing work without affecting the original project. This is useful when you find a community template, a starter project, or a colleague's Replit that's close to what you need - you take a copy and make it your own. It's also a low-risk way to experiment with unfamiliar code since anything you break stays contained in your fork. For teams, it keeps the main project stable while individuals develop and test changes separately.
