How to Filter Weekdays Using Queries in Power BI

Here’s exactly how you can do it:

  1. Go to the 'Transform data' from your 'Home' tab.
  2. Select 'Transform data' to open the Power Query Editor.
  3. Go to 'Add Column'.
  4. Select the date column.
  5. Under the 'Add Column', select 'Date'.
  6. From the menu, select 'Day'.
  7. Once you have selected the 'Day', choose 'Day of week'.
  8. Click on the drop-down arrow to filter the weekdays.
  9. Uncheck the numbers for Sunday and Saturday.
  10. Once done, click 'OK'.
  11. Click the 'File' menu.
  12. Select 'Close & Apply' to save changes.
  13. Following these steps can help you easily filter weekdays using Power BI queries.
