Claude does not have a built-in export to PDF feature, but you can save any chat as a PDF by copying the message, pasting it into Google Docs, and downloading it as a PDF document.
Steps
- On Claude's main dashboard, open the left-side panel and click Chats.
- Find and open the chat you want to export.
- Locate the message you want to save, then click its Copy button.
- Open a new Google Docs or Word document and right-click on the page.
- Select Paste to insert the copied chat content.
- Review the document and make any adjustments, then click File in the top menu.
- Hover over the Download option and select PDF Document (.pdf) from the list.
- The exported PDF will be saved to your local Downloads folder.
