📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Exporting your passwords gives you complete control over your digital credentials, whether you're switching to a new password manager or creating an emergency backup. Beyond simple migration, having a local copy protects you from service outages, account lockouts, or sudden policy changes that could temporarily block access to your accounts. You also gain the ability to analyze your password habits, spot duplicate credentials across services, and identify accounts you've forgotten about but might still need to secure or close.
