Steps

1. Open Descript and either upload an audio file or record a new one directly in the app.
2. Edit the transcript directly to change words, remove sections, or correct mistakes.
3. In the timeline, click and drag to select the section of audio you want to edit.
4. To cut a section, right-click and select Cut or press the Delete key.
5. Click on the audio track in the timeline and adjust the volume slider to change the volume of specific sections.
6. Apply the Studio Sound effect to enhance audio clarity.
7. Click and drag the fade handle to the right to increase the fade-in duration.
8. Click the Publish button in the top-right corner to save your finished edits.
