Jira's Advanced Search lets you use JQL (Jira Query Language) to filter and retrieve specific issues with precision beyond standard search filters. By switching to JQL mode and entering a custom query, teams can instantly surface exactly the issues they need across any project.
Steps
- Go to the top navigation bar and click the Search bar.
- Click View All Issues to open the full issues list.
- Click JQL at the top-right corner to switch to advanced search mode.
- Click the Search bar and type your JQL query targeting the specific issues or items you need.
- Click the Search icon to execute the query.
- Review the query results that Jira returns based on your JQL input.
