How to Delete WordPress Site and Start Over

Deleting a WordPress site permanently requires navigating to Site Settings and confirming the action with your site address. Once deleted, the site can still be restored from the Status field if needed.

Steps

1. Go to your Sites list, select the site you want to delete, and click the ellipsis icon.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. In the dashboard, navigate to Settings and open the General menu, then click Delete your site permanently.
4. Before proceeding, optionally back up your content by clicking Export content.
5. Enter your site address in the confirmation field to verify the deletion.
6. Click Delete site to permanently remove the site.
7. Your site is now deleted. To undo, click the Restore option found under the Status field.
