How To Delete A Component In Webflow

‍

Follow these steps to delete a component in Webflow:

  1. Open your project to head inside the editor.
  2. Select your component.
  3. Right click on the instance to open a menu and select Unlink Instance from the bottom. Repeat this step for all instances of the component as an active component cannot be deleted.
  4. Or optionally use the shortcut Shift + Ctrl + A as it could be a repetitive task.
  5. Go to the left sidebar menu and open Components.
  6. If all instances of the component are unlinked, you will notice a count of "0 instances" below it.
  7. Click on the small pencil icon.
  8. And click on Delete.
  9. Confirm your decision by clicking on Delete again.
  10. Your component has been deleted.
