A GetResponse autoresponder lets you automatically send scheduled emails to subscribers based on the day they join your list. This step-by-step walkthrough covers everything from naming your message to publishing a fully configured email sequence.
Steps
- Go to the Quick Actions menu and select Create autoresponder.
- In the popup window, choose either AI email creator or By myself to start building your message.
- Give your autoresponder message an internal name for easy identification.
- Choose the contact list you want to link to this autoresponder — this is the list subscribers sign up to.
- Assign the autoresponder to a specific day in the cycle to control when it sends.
- Select your preferred send timing: same time as sign-up, with a delay, or at an exact time.
- Choose the days of the week on which you want the message to be delivered.
- Set the From and Reply-to email addresses for your message.
- Enter your email subject line.
- Click Design message to open the email editor and style your email.
- Browse and select from predesigned templates, then click Use template.
- Click Save or Save and publish to make the autoresponder go live immediately.
- Confirm the published autoresponder via the success notification that appears on screen.
- Review your completed autoresponder setup — you can now manage it from the dashboard.
