📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
A YouTube Brand Account separates your channel identity from your personal Google profile, which is essential for any business or creator who wants to share channel management with a team. Without it, every manager needs access to a personal Google login - a security risk and a practical problem when team members change. The conversion process also preserves your existing subscribers, videos, and channel history, so there is no cost to making the switch after the fact. Getting this structure in place early means your channel is set up to scale with proper access controls from the start.
