How to Create a Dashboard in Jira
Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a dashboard in Jira:
- In the top navigation, click the Dashboards dropdown and select Create Dashboard.
- Name your dashboard and add a description.
- Add viewers and editors if needed and hit Save.
- In the top-right, click Add Gadget. Select from the gadgets on the right pane and hit Add.
- You can change the layout by selecting Change layout in the top-right
- Optionally, drag and drop gadgets to organize information
- When you're satisfied, select Done in the top-right
- A Jira dashboard is a collection of "gadgets," or pre-installed data displays, that show real-time information to help you track and monitor your work across projects.
Note:
- Dashboards can be private or shared with other users on your instance.
- You can add gadgets like "Reports - Charts and Graphs" to create charts, graphs, and reports.
- You can also use the Table Grid Next Generation app to create grids on an issue, filter data, group data by columns, and export table data.
