How to Create a Campaign in HubSpot

Use this interactive demo to learn how to set up and launch a marketing campaign in HubSpot.

Quick summary

HubSpot's Campaigns tool lets marketing teams create, organize, and track multi-channel campaigns from a single dashboard. In just a few clicks, you can define a campaign name, assign an owner, set goals, and launch — all without leaving HubSpot Marketing Hub.


Steps

  1. Navigate to Marketing then select Campaigns from the top navigation menu.
  2. Click the Create campaign button to start building a new campaign.
  3. Choose to start from scratch or select a pre-built template to guide your setup.
  4. Enter a clear Campaign Name (note: this cannot be changed later), assign a Campaign Owner, and optionally set a goal.
  5. Optionally define your Target Audience and set a Budget for the campaign.
  6. Click Create to officially launch your campaign.
  7. After launching, plan goals and audience in advance, use the campaign calendar for scheduling, and track performance to optimize results.
