How to Copy an Airtable Table to Another Base

Use this interactive demo to learn how to sync and link bases across your Airtable workspace.

Quick summary

Linking bases in Airtable lets you sync data across separate workspaces so teams always work from a single source of truth. You can set up a base sync in minutes using the Share and Sync menu without any third-party tools.


Steps

  1. Navigate to the top menu bar, then click 'Share and Sync'.
  2. Click 'Sync Data to Another Base' to open the sync options.
  3. Toggle on the radio button next to 'Allow Data in this View to be Synced to Other Bases'.
  4. Tap 'Sync This View' to confirm the sync settings for the current view.
  5. Choose the specific Workspace and Base where you want to link the current base, then click 'Create Table' to continue.
  6. After completing these steps, the two bases in Airtable will be linked instantly.
