📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Channels that start as personal projects often outgrow the individual who created them, especially in business or team environments. Leaving a channel tied to a personal Google account creates a single point of failure - if that person's account is compromised or they leave the organization, access to the channel and all its content is at risk. Converting to a Brand Account gives you a proper ownership structure with role-based access, so the channel belongs to the organization rather than an individual. It also makes it easier to onboard agencies, contractors, or new team members without sharing personal login credentials.
