This demo shows how to close an issue in Jira Service Management by updating the status field and marking the request as done. Support agents can follow these steps to resolve customer requests directly from the service project Queues.
Steps
- Navigate to Queues from your Jira Service Management service project.
- Select the Status field on the issue you want to close.
- Mark the issue as Done (Resolved).
- Provide resolution details such as Done or Won't Do, and set the Linked Issues parameter to specify the related issue.
- Add comments for your team or the customer, then click Mark as Done.
- Confirm the issue is now closed in Jira Service Management.
