Use this interactive demo to learn how to view and filter your SendGrid email activity logs.

Quick summary

The SendGrid Activity Feed lets you search and filter email logs by date range or recipient address to troubleshoot delivery issues. You can drill into individual email events and export the full log as a CSV for deeper analysis.

Steps

  1. Select Activity from the left sidebar to open the email activity feed.
  2. Set a specific date range using the Date Range filter and click Search to query logs.
  3. Enter a recipient email address in the filter field to narrow results to emails sent to that address.
  4. Hit Search to display the filtered email log results.
  5. Select one of the events from the results list to open its detailed view.
  6. Scroll down within the event detail to view more information about that email's delivery status.
  7. Click Export CSV in the top right to download the full log as a CSV file.

📌 Why this matters

Monitoring email deliverability is critical for any business relying on transactional or marketing email. SendGrid's Activity Feed gives teams instant visibility into email logs, bounce events, and delivery status without writing a single line of code. Being able to filter email activity by date range or recipient and export results as a CSV makes it easy to diagnose delivery failures, respond to support tickets faster, and maintain sender reputation. This feature is essential for developers and email operations teams who need reliable, auditable insight into every email sent through their SendGrid account.
