How to Change Project Lead in Jira

Changing the Project Lead in Jira is a task that typically requires project admin or Jira admin permissions. Here’s how you can change the Project Lead:

1. Select the project for which you want to change the Project Lead.
2. Once in the project, click on 'Project settings' in the left-hand menu.
3. On the Details page, you’ll find a field labeled 'Project Lead'.
4. Click on the current Project Lead’s name to edit the field.
5. Select the correct user from the dropdown list that appears.
