  1. Select the project for which you want to change the Project Lead.
  2. Once in the project, click on 'Project settings' in the left-hand menu.
  3. On the Details page, you’ll find a field labeled 'Project Lead'.
  4. Click on the current Project Lead’s name to edit the field.
  5. Select the correct user from the dropdown list that appears.
  6. Click 'Save' to apply the change.
  7. After saving the change, the new Project Lead will be reflected in the project settings.
  8. A notification pops up once you have successfully changed the project lead in Jira.
