How to Change LastPass Master Password
📌 Why this matters
Why this matters
Changing your master password protects your entire vault when your security might be compromised—whether from a data breach, shared device access, or suspicion that someone knows your credentials. Your master password is the single point of failure for all stored accounts, so updating it immediately cuts off any unauthorized access. Regular password changes also help you maintain stronger security habits, since you can upgrade to a more complex passphrase that reflects current best practices rather than sticking with something you created years ago.
