Quick summary
Google Slides does not have a native blur tool, but you can simulate a blur effect using the Drop shadow feature in Format options. By adjusting the blur radius and opacity sliders, you can soften or highlight any selected object on your slide.
Steps
- Click the object you want to edit on your slide.
- Right-click on the image to open the dropdown menu.
- Select Format options from the dropdown menu.
- In the Format options panel on the right, open Drop shadow.
- Adjust the Blur radius slider to soften the shadow effect.
- Adjust the Opacity slider to make the shadow lighter or darker.
- Your slide now displays a blur-style effect that softens or highlights the selected area.
