How to Automate Pipedrive Tasks from New Gmail Emails through Zapier

This tutorial shows how to automate Pipedrive tasks triggered by new Gmail emails using Zapier, eliminating manual data entry between your inbox and CRM. In under 15 minutes you can build, test, and publish a live Zap that keeps your sales pipeline updated the moment an email arrives.


Steps

  1. From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new automation.
  2. Click on the Trigger field to open the event selector.
  3. Select Gmail as the trigger app.
  4. Choose New Email as the trigger event.
  5. Authorize Zapier to access your Gmail account.
  6. Select the label or mailbox to monitor and click Continue.
  7. Search and select Pipedrive as the action app.
  8. Add an action for Pipedrive to define what happens when the trigger fires.
  9. Click Allow and Install to authorize Zapier to access your Pipedrive account.
  10. Configure the action settings and click Continue.
  11. Click Test step to send a test email matching the trigger criteria and verify the integration.
  12. Once testing is successful, click Publish to turn on the Zap and activate the automated workflow.
