Steps
- From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to start building a new workflow.
- Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event.
- Search and select GitHub as your trigger app.
- Select New Commit as the trigger event.
- Connect your GitHub account to authorize Zapier access.
- Select the repository where commits will trigger the workflow and click Continue.
- Click Test trigger to verify that Zapier can pull in recent commit data.
- Search and select Discord as the action app.
- Select Send Channel Message as the action event.
- Connect your Discord account to authorize Zapier access.
- Configure the event details — such as the target channel and message content — then click Continue.
- Click Test step to confirm the Discord message sends successfully.
